Joey will be able to apply her education and business experience in the real estate field as she assists her clients to navigate the ever-changing market. Sports have always been a passion of Joey’s, starting with soccer at a young age which continued at a collegiate level while attending Hawaii Pacific University. Paddling became a new passion of hers when she met her husband, world-renowned Waterman Jim Foti. Together with her husband, Joey operates a 501c3 non-profit organization; Kanaka Ikaika Racing Association, that promotes and organizes open ocean paddling races around Oahu. Joey’s determination and commitment to paddling has led her to numerous accomplishments and accolades including a 3rd place finish with her Lanikai Canoe Club team in the World Championship outrigger race; Na Wahine O Ke Kai, as well as winning the prestigious Senior Women’s State Championship in 2019. As with her sports accomplishments, Joey takes a team approach to real estate. She knows the key to creating a successful experience requires working together with transparency and having open communication so that clients are informed, aware and comfortable throughout every step of their real estate journey. Raised and still residing in Kailua, Joey graduated from Iolani School and continued her education at Hawaii Pacific University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Joey graduated at the top of her class with distinction. Joey is married with three sons: Chase, Connor, and Castle. She values the importance of family and the local community. She enjoys the competition of outrigger canoe racing and soccer, and all the opportunities of traveling and making connections around the world that these sports have given her. More rewarding than winning is sharing her knowledge as a paddling coach with kids and her own children and watching them thrive.
