Happy September!

A little later than usual, but my August housing market review is finally ready! Things have been busy, so this one took me a little longer to get put together.

If you're curious about what's happening in the Kalamazoo County housing market, here's this month's review compiled from residential sales data reported in the MLS.

A couple of things stood out in August: new listings and closed sales were both down compared to July, while interest rates continued to climb. The average days on market, however, dipped slightly to 30 days.

Happy July, everyone! I can't believe July 4 has come and gone already, can you?! Here are the June stats for the Kalamazoo residential market. (I pull this data straight from the MLS and not a third party site 😉 )

Happy June!

My latest housing market breakdown is ready.

A few things stood out to me this month:

🏡 New listings remained strong with 400 homes hitting the market.

📊 Over 300 homes went under contract and 308 homes closed, showing that buyers are still active despite current market conditions.

📈 Interest rates increased across all major loan types compared to last month, something I'll continue to watch closely as we move through the summer market.
