FIND THE EXACT LOCATION OF MOLD — SAVE TIME AND MONEY ON REMEDIATION

We know how stressful it can be to have or suspect mold in your home. This can result in spending far more money and time than necessary — opening up walls, ceilings, and floors to find the problem, and remediating multiple times if all sources aren't found prior to the work. Our mold detection dog, Molly, can find 18 different

types of toxic mold and pinpoint their sources, saving you money, time, and frustration — and ensuring a safe living environment for you and your family. Molly is the only mold dog in Michigan trained by Bill Whitstine, who pioneered the mold dog industry. 26 years ago, Bill identified the growing problem of mold in homes and businesses and worked with researchers to further investigate the possibility that dogs could be trained to detect molds. Bill has been a leader in the field of canine training since 1989 when he was the first person to attend the Maine State Police Canine Academy in Accelerant Detection. Bill and his dogs have been featured on over nine shows, including several segments on the Animal Planet and The Discovery Channel.

Trust Your Gut…

Your gut, your instincts, your mother’s intuition, whatever you call that sensation you feel when you know something is wrong.

I can’t tell you how many times Molly and I have been in a clients home and their gut instinct was proven right.

Time and time again we check homes for mold and find it in rooms that “didn’t feel right” to the home owner or walls that “seemed icky”.

There’s a reason you feel that way.

And NO it’s not “All in your head”.

There’s a reason why you feel like garbage anytime you spend time in the basement or a certain room of the house.

That reason is likely mold, and regardless of what your “air test” says or the visual inspection by a “professional” who claims “you should be good” you still feel like garbage.

I know what it’s like to have multiple remediations, mold inspections, and clearance tests done and still not have your loved one feel any better.

Trust yourself.

It’s not unscientific to trust your gut on these things and check again.

And, YES, you’re stressed, and sick, but that doesn’t make you crazy, obsessed, or delusional.

Even when everyone else seems “fine”.

Science has proven over and over again that the human brain has the same capacity to process information as a super computer. Don’t you think your brain knows when something is “off” in your environment?

Don’t you believe that God created us with the ability to “know” when something is wrong?

I believe He did, and whether its, Subconsious, Supernatural, Intuition, or Information, you know something’s wrong.

Trust your gut and check it out. The mold inspector is only there for a few hours, YOU LIVE THERE.

I trust my clients when they tell me their concerns… and I would avoid inspectors who downplay your concerns or tell you “you’re fine” or say that “they would move in tomorrow”.

They aren’t you. They don’t have to deal with the health issues you’re facing.

Trust yourself. And if someone is telling you the house is fine. Tell them to prove it to you with test results that check the whole house top to bottom, behind every wall, under every floor.

My prayers go out to you and I wish you all the best.

Molly and I are here for you if you need us.

Today is National Puppy Day!

Did you know Molly is a rescue dog who came into our lives just a couple short years ago? When we met Molly at the shelter, she was a bit scraggly looking and had recently had a litter of puppies herself (who were all adopted).

She also had an amazingly sweet personality that our family fell in love with right away. We brought Molly home as a family pet during the beginning of the pandemic, with no intention of training her as a mold dog. Our three girls, myself, and Glen have all loved on her almost every day since.

Last year, we had Bill Whitstine and his mold dog "Sarge" from Florida check our house for mold, and they were able to find mold other companies had missed! We fell in love with the process, and Bill fell in love with Molly. He couldn't stop talking about how smart and well-behaved she was, and he thought he could train her for mold detection.

It took a month trial-run with Bill in Florida before he knew Molly had the instinct and would be able to become a mold detection dog. She trained intensively with Bill for two more months after that, and then passed her certification with flying colors.

Today, Molly is the happiest dog you'll meet. She loves being with our family almost 24/7 (she even goes to the office with us). And she LOVES having a job to do. She's so proud of herself when she finds mold. :)

I didn't realize how much she had changed in two years until looking at the pictures below. It's amazing to see the transformation! ❤️🐕

Important update from Mold Canine:

Some of you may have heard, our family (and Molly) were involved in a serious car accident a couple weeks ago. It was a bit scary at first, with two of our daughters getting pretty serious concussions, and Beth suffering a fractured neck. Everyone is recovering well, but it will take some time for us to all be 100%.

Molly had some minor injuries and was seen by a vet. She is doing well and has begun daily training again, so she can start some local work later this week.

We apologize for the delay in getting back with some of you who have called or messaged us the past couple of weeks. We will be starting to schedule local appointments again this week. We will also be reaching out this week to reschedule trips that were cancelled or postponed, followed by reaching out to those of you interested in scheduling new trips.

Thank you for your patience, your prayers, and warm thoughts right now. ❤️
