We put down the moving boxes and picked up a little fun last week!

Our Kalamazoo team headed to Zap Zone XL in Portage for morale day, and we were happy to trade a busy day of moving for some time together outside of work.

This crew works hard, shows up for each other, and deserves a chance to let loose. Glad we could get everyone together for a day that was all about them!

10/16/2026

We invited the Kalamazoo Fire Department to help kick off our team’s morale day, and they gave our crew a chance to put some fire safety knowledge into practice!

Along with talking about the importance of fire safety, the team stepped outside to try using fire extinguishers with guidance from the department. There’s a lot of value in being able to practice with someone there to walk you through it.

A big thank-you to the firefighters who spent their morning with us. We appreciate everything you do for Kalamazoo, including taking the time to teach our team!

Two pickup locations in Kalamazoo. Two trucks. Five movers. One new home in Homer!

This move included approximately 12,000 pounds of household belongings and a 14-hour day, with plenty of teamwork along the way. Trainer Anthony, Driver George, and Movers Sean, Brandon, and Javeon used extra equipment for heavier basement items, carefully positioned oddly shaped furniture, and kept the unload organized so the customer had room to unpack.

The customer sent us photos afterward and praised Anthony’s leadership, sharing how he guided the crew and patiently taught techniques when needed. She also said she practically had to beg the team to take a pizza break!

We’re proud of this Kalamazoo crew for bringing care, communication, and a little moving-day encouragement to a big job.

What’s your go-to moving-day pizza order?
