❤️💚Season's Greetings from Me to You 💚❤️
Hello Friends!
❤️ We’re in full swing of the holiday season, and honestly, why shouldn’t we be? It seems to start earlier every year! We were barely past Halloween before the stores were bursting with twinkling lights, glittering ornaments, and Christmas music singing, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,” while we were still raking leaves in our shorts and t-shirts!
💚 I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR — the sparkle, the cozy gatherings, and even the chaos of it all. It reminds us to slow down, laugh a little more, and find joy in the small, ordinary moments that make life special.
❤️ BUT CHRISTMAS ISN'T ALWAYS A HAPPY SEASON for everyone. Many experience loss, loneliness, financial stress, or sadness. When the world says, “Be merry,” you may be quietly thinking, “I’m sad. This isn’t a happy season for me.” I commend you for your honesty and authenticity. That’s where healing begins.
💚 WE ALSO NEED TO BE KIND to ourselves and remember that the struggles don’t pause for the holidays. Checks still bounce. Chemotherapy appointments are scheduled. Divorce still happens. Relationships keep unravelling. Being alone feels even lonelier. Parents negotiate who will have the kids on Christmas morning. And the “never enoughs” are in full swing. Life doesn’t pause for the holidays — but grace can meet us right in the middle of it.
❤️ I HEAR YOU. I’ve been where you are — not for one year, but for several.
💚 AS MY MAMA PASSED AWAY ON NOVEMBER 30, this year brings a different kind of reflection. It’s incredible how quickly life moves and how much can change in twelve months. This Christmas feels bittersweet, filled with memories that make me pause, take a breath, and appreciate the people who make life brighter — friends, family, clients, and colleagues who’ve shared in the highs and helped carry the lows.
❤️ I’ve been thinking a lot about RESILIENCE - it’s the ability to face life’s hardest moments and still choose to keep going. It’s not about never breaking; it’s about how you rebuild after you do. Resilience is a decision, a single step forward, a choice to find gratitude even in the things that hurt. It’s learning to let the tough moments make you stronger, wiser, and somehow softer at the same time.
💚 If you have an empty seat at your table this year, take a moment to remember the laughter, love, and good memories that still make you smile. Christmas is for those here and now — embrace them, hold them close, and enjoy their presence.
I’m praying for you, for a sparkle in your eye and hope in your heart. AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, THE HOLIDAY MAGIC IS IN THE MESS - in the wrapping paper on the floor, the overfilled calendars, the burnt cookies, and the laughter that spills over anyway.
💚Wishing You a Merry Christmas and a Blessed Mess!❤️
With love and gratitude,
Kim xo😘
