Okay, let’s be real — I just got some great news from Amanda Keeland, my VA loan expert partner, and I wanted to pass it along because it’s actually a game-changer for VA buyers in our market.
The VA is officially reducing appraisal turn times in Flathead County from 21 business days down to just 12 business days effective May 1st.
This is HUGE for VA buyers and here’s why it matters:
✅ Shorter overall closing timelines = you’re not waiting around forever✅ Less uncertainty during the transaction = everyone knows what to expect✅ Your offer is way more competitive = sellers see the faster timeline and feel confident✅ Better confidence all around = when you make a VA offer, sellers actually want to accept it

Spent last week at the MAR state meetings and WOW… my brain is full (in the best way).

Between leveling up my knowledge, connecting with some incredible people across the state, and soaking in all things real estate… I walked away feeling fired up and inspired.

But the real “pinch me” moment? Being recognized by the MAR President for my dedication to serving on YPN as Vice Chair. Such an honor and one I don’t take lightly. I truly love being involved in this industry and this community.

Now let’s be real for a second… none of this happens solo.

To my husband😘 who somehow manages to hold down the fort, support my crazy schedule, and still show up for me and our kids like a rockstar… you’re the real MVP.

And to my friends at home who jump in to help shuffle kids, fill the gaps, and make sure life doesn’t skip a beat while I’m gone🫶🏽 you are my people. My tribe. And I am so dang grateful for you.

Because the truth is… I couldn’t show up at this level, serve my clients, or be involved in my community without the army behind the scenes making it all possible.

Not long ago, the Flathead School Snack Program wasn’t even operating. Today, it’s been consistently feeding kids for the past 17 months—and that’s something truly special.

As a board member, it’s been incredibly rewarding to help bring this program back into schools and watch it grow into something that’s making a real difference every single week.

This is what happens when a community comes together—businesses, volunteers, and partners all stepping up to make sure kids are taken care of. 🙌
