A new chapter for Waimea’s Jacaranda Inn and hopefully it’s a great new direction. The property has been left and sad for many years. Growing up, my classmates lived there - it was amazing place!
From Pacific Business News:
Stanford Carr, longtime Hawaiʻi hotel executive Jerry Gibson, and Parker Ranch are teaming up to restore the former inn as a Parker Ranch-branded boutique hotel.
Once a private retreat for Laurance Rockefeller, it holds so many layers of Waimea history—including a few of our own! I’m looking forward to seeing its next chapter take shape, with care for its history and the character of our town.
Do you have memories of the Jacaranda Inn? I’d love to hear them.
