🏡 WAITING FOR THE “PERFECT” MARKET?

Let’s look at where things stand in September 2026.

📊 Latest inflation reported in September: 3.4%
🏦 30-year fixed mortgage rate: approximately 7.17%

Yes, mortgage rates are still elevated. But waiting for the “perfect” rate may not always be the best strategy.

Why could NOW be an opportunity for buyers?

🏠 Higher rates may mean fewer buyers competing for the same home.

💰 Sellers may be more willing to negotiate on price, closing costs or even contribute toward a mortgage rate buydown.

🔑 Buying in a less competitive market can give you more negotiating power.
