I still need about 150 ft of heavy duty extension cords for next Tuesday night’s epic “Haunted Backyard” community event. Mike Lee generously let me borrow 150 ft, I just need 150 ft more!!!

My measured 10k time was 1:31 for the Over the Rainbow Runs route. Still need to improve my time on the Connector Trail section. 5 weeks to go!

Tom’s Canyon Trail run today. My current trail running 1 mile pace is at 10:43. My goal for this section is a 9:45 mile pace when Over the Rainbow Runs happens on October 12.

This is a great time to sign up for the Over the Rainbow Runs 10k or half marathon trail run!
Why?
1. Kanab is beautiful!
2. The run incorporates four of the most awesome trails in our area: Tom’s Canyon Trail, Cliff Trail, Connector Trail and Beehive Trail.
3. Price increases September 1 so sign up now.
4. Jacob Hamlin Park is great gathering place for the start and finish.

I have a baseline for the Over the Rainbow Runs 10k!!!
1 hour, 35 minutes
Definitely room to improve on the Connector Trail and the Beehive switchbacks but I am happy with my first timed run.
