🍜 KANSAS CITY, THIS RAMEN POP-UP IS TOO GOOD TO MISS. 🇯🇵🔥

This week, KC Craft Ramen has a special pop-up with Miso No Itadaki from Kanagawa, Japan, and I had to check it out.

I ordered the Hokkaido Miso Ramen with the Deluxe Toppings, loaded up with pork belly chashu, seasoned egg, butter, corn and all the extras.

The broth was the star. Deep, rich, savory and absolutely packed with umami flavor. Add in the buttery corn, tender pork and that soft seasoned egg, and every bite just kept getting better.

One of those bowls where you finish it and immediately start thinking about when you can come back. 😂🍜

KC burger people… I’m ready to start an argument. 🍔

I finally made it over to Cosmo Burger in the East Crossroads, and after crushing a double cheeseburger and an order of tater tots, I’ve got to say it…

Cosmo Burger belongs in the conversation for one of the best burgers in Kansas City.

The double was exactly what I want in a burger: crispy edges, plenty of cheese, great flavor, and just messy enough that you know you ordered correctly. 😂 And those tots? Absolutely the right move.

Kansas City has a seriously deep burger bench, so I know this is going to get some opinions going…

Some of the best Kansas City BBQ isn’t actually in Kansas City.

📍 K&M Bar-B-Q | Spring Hill, Kansas

For more than 30 years, owners Ken & Michelle have been serving up BBQ around the KC area. What started as a hobby, selling BBQ sandwiches at fairs and festivals, eventually grew into a full-service restaurant and catering business.

For more than 20 years, K&M has called Spring Hill home, becoming one of those local spots that people in the area just know. Big portions, hickory-smoked meats, homemade sides and old-school BBQ without all the hype.

And that’s exactly why I wanted to check it out.

KC gets a lot of attention for the famous BBQ names, but sometimes the spots outside the city are the ones worth making the drive for.
