I think one of the best parts about living in Kansas City is that we don't always realize how good we have it.

We have beautiful parks, incredible local businesses, affordable homeownership compared to so many cities, amazing sports, and road trips to lakes, mountains, and big cities all within 10 hours.

These little things become part of our everyday life, so it's easy to forget they're actually luxuries.

You know I LOVE a local business, and my kids has made sure this one stays in business 😂. I'm talking about our favorite Kansas City Northland's donut shop: Fresh Donuts No. 1 - 🍩 my go-to Open House treat!

My kids favorite: Sprinkle yeast donuts
My husband's favorite: Jalapeño Kolaches
My favorite: The Cronut

Located right off Barry Road near Zona Rosa, this shop is the perfect morning stop. It has a small play area for your kids, meaning you can have a moment to get some quick work done or just meet a friend and catch up. Their donuts are so good that they do sell out fast! So make sure that you're getting up early to get your favorite! they are closed on Mondays so make sure you plan accordingly, but is open 5 AM through 1 PM (or until they sell out!) any other day.

CONGRATULATIONS to my amazing client on selling his property in KCK!! We had a contract in 3 days and then when that buyer backed out, we had it back under contract in 24 hours!!

He inherited the home from his late grandfather, put some love and few updates to it, and had it ready for another family to begin their own memories there. My client was so efficient in getting any repairs needed done and making sure the new buyers could move in with peace of mind. Enjoy your new chapter as you close this one.
