CONGRATS to two awesome humans on getting this super cute home under contract! 🏡🎉

They stayed patient, kept looking for the "unicorn," and knew the right one would come along. So when this one got on their radar, they were prepared to act swiftly and bring their best food forward. Sure enough, it did the trick and they were able to snag it!

🌈 Happy 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 Month, friends! 🌈

Just like the colors of Pride are bold, joyful, bright, beautiful, unique, and yes, sometimes covered in glitter, so are the many people I love in this community and beyond! P.S.- As a former teacher, the glitter isn't for me and will somehow still be in my car come September after this month's Pride Parade, but that aside, rainbow everything is my favorite.

But at its core, Pride is about something much bigger than logos and parade floats. It’s about kindness. Love. Safety. Visibility. Belonging. And it’s about allowing people to be who they are, authentically, fully, openly, and unapologetically. As someone who tends to stand up for what I believe in no questions asked, all I ever need to know is that you bleed red as do I, and so be YOU in whatever color, shade, or flavor that is and embrace it.

Turning 𝟰𝟬 😬 this year, I realized that I like who I am, the way that I am, and what I stand for. But more importantly, what I don't stand for. I don't need to subscribe to what makes other people more comfortable and no one else should either. The world is more interesting when people are different and some of the best people on this planet are completely different from me which is one of things I love most. Missouri is due for a change.

And as a REALTOR®, this matters a lot to me.

Because “home” does not just mean four walls and a mortgage. Home should be a place you feel seen, heard, respected, and celebrated. It should mean your family, your spouse or partner, your kids, your identity, and your story are honored without question or any justification needed.

This month, and every month forward, you can support the LGBTQ+ community by:

❤️ Shopping LGBTQ+ owned businesses
🧡 Showing up for local Pride events
💛 Speaking up when you hear discrimination, see people saying one thing but doing another
💚 Supporting inclusive schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods
💙 Voting with human rights in mind
💜 Making sure your homes, businesses, and communities are places for everyone

Pride is a celebration, but it’s also a reminder: love does not require permission. Let me say that again, "who I love does not require your permission."

So here’s to more human decency, more courage, more chosen family, safer spaces, and more people living out loud and unapologetically so!

Happy Pride Month. You are loved. You belong. And around here, there is always room at MY table. 🌈✨

CONGRATS to this first-time home buyer on this wonderful ranch sitting on some land for his pup Hugo to roam! Starting fresh in a new city, with a new job, and now a new place to call home. This particular client had two pretty tough inspection negotiations and despite all of the challenges, hung in there and trusted the process. I wish him all the best in this chapter!

CONGRATS to both of my Seller clients on getting their homes under contract. The first set of clients had an off-market opportunity come about, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect. While I will miss their smiling faces as my neighbors, I am so happy that this transition will be much less stressful and smoother all around for them as they navigate the next chapter. The other, a favorite past client, has since relocated, and being hundreds of miles away, the faith he puts in me to get the job done makes it that much sweeter. When clients come back and put their trust in me again to make the outcome they want possible, that validates their confidence in my ability to help them navigate this process.
