There's an old belief floating around that spring is the only "real" time to sell.
I get why it stuck. More listings, more buyers, more energy.
But here's what that story leaves out. π
More listings also means more competition. In spring, your home is one of many. In late summer and fall, there are usually fewer homes on the market β and the buyers who are still looking tend to be serious.
They're not casually browsing. They're ready to move, often before the school year or the holidays.
So a quieter season isn't a worse season. Sometimes it's the one where your home actually stands out.
None of this means you have to list right now.
It just means if fall feels right for your life, don't let a calendar myth talk you out of it.
The best time to sell is usually the time that fits you.
Happy to think it through together whenever you're ready. No pressure. π‘
