I am incredibly honored and honestly a little emotional to share that I will be recognized at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Night on the Town Gala on October 3rd. 💜

When I think about where I was not that long ago, this moment feels almost surreal. So many of you have watched me fight through some of the hardest days of my life. You’ve seen me struggle, fall apart, keep going, and fight like hell to heal my body and get my life back.

I wish I could say I’m on the other side of it, but the truth is, I’m still fighting. I’m still searching for remission. I’m still navigating the uncertainty that comes with living with a disease that can change your life in ways you never expected.
But somewhere along the way, my own experience gave me a reason to speak up. To raise awareness. To make sure people with Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis feel seen, heard, and less alone.

To be recognized for that is incredibly meaningful to me. I am so grateful for this honor, but even more grateful for the people who have stood beside me through this journey. The messages, the check-ins, the hugs, the support, and simply being there when I needed it most, I will never forget it.

This disease has taken a lot from me, but it has also shown me how strong I am and given me a purpose I never knew I needed.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. Your support means more than I could ever put into words. 💜
Here’s to continuing to fight, continuing to raise awareness, and continuing to hope for a future where no one has to feel alone in this fight. 💜

Before the sign went up, there was a lot of hard work behind the scenes.
