Wall Street is paying attention to Kansas City industrial real estate, and local market leaders were optimistic about what comes next at this week's Kansas City Industrial Conference hosted by InterFace Conference Group.

During the panel discussion, Executive Vice President Mike Bell highlighted Morgan Stanley's acquisition of the Ace Hardware facility at KCI 29 Logistics Park as a sign that more institutional investors are recognizing the advantages Kansas City offers. As companies look for efficient ways to serve customers nationwide, our region continues to stand out as a market built for long-term growth.

Big news for KCI 29 Logistics Park: Morgan Stanley Investment Management has acquired the 1.5 million-square-foot Ace Hardware retail supply center, the first completed building at Missouri’s premier, institutional-grade industrial park.

The facility serves as Ace Hardware's largest retail support center and is the largest distribution center in Kansas City by building footprint.
