Peak Management is a growing company of manufactured housing communities nationwide. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician at the Winterbrook Manufactured Housing Community in Greenwood; under 15 miles South of Indianapolis.
As a Maintenance Technician for Peak Management Company, you play a vital role in our mission to provide our residents with best-in-class community living. You will provide maintenance to resident homes and our community, turnover homes to make ready for new residents, and support the overall business operations in a team friendly environment.
Our manufactured homes provide skilled crafts workers an opportunity to apply their knowledge and experience across several areas of general maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance.

A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Tech May Include
· Make Ready homes newly vacant for sale or lease
o Clean out homes after vacancy; involving trash out, removing furniture items, possibly removing appliances that will be replaced, and pulling carpet.
o Inspect home for needed repairs and perform necessary repair involving light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other home repair work.
· Respond to work order requests submitted by residents for basic maintenance service and repairs
o Troubleshooting issues with appliances, heating, refrigeration, garbage disposal, faucet and toilet leaks, lighting, smoke detectors, and other typical home maintenance issues.
· Grounds and community maintenance
o Daily upkeep of property grounds to include trash pickup, mowing, and w**d eating
o Snow/Ice removal and treatment
o Inspect for, report and address safety issues
o Respond to infrastructure issues such as sewer, water lines, electrical, street, and common buildings
Requirements for this position:
Valid DL and reliable transportation.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in property maintenance, construction, or related field.
Available to work On-Call hours including nights and weekends.
Has own hand tools.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Meet physical demands of position: Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work
Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing
Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics
