Why is there suffering in this world? Because there are those who refuse to live for God and treat one another as the Bible commands us to do in scriptures. Our unbelief has given birth to greed, pride, lust, hate, cruelty and self-serving ways which gain us nothing. God gave us intelligence to choose what is right yet we cling to temporary pleasures and poor choices that produce bad fruit that do not sustain nor last. Without God we are nothing and when we do that which goes against God's will for us, we produce nothing of true worth or meaning because of our own foolishness. God is our rock and without Him, we will always fall instead of stand and fail instead of finding victory in Jesus Christ.

Why do some people say that everyone goes to Heaven? Do we get into Heaven by simply being a "good person"? Does everyone who dies become an angel in Heaven? What does the Bible say about such things? In John 14:6, Jesus says "I Am the Way, the Truth and the Light. No one comes to the Father except through Me". What does this truly mean? It means that we must repent of our sins, acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Son of God and accept Him as Our Savior, be baptized in water to be washed clean from our sin and be born again. After we are born again we are held to the standard of living life not in sin yet by rebuking participating in sin. The Bible never does say anyone goes to Heaven without doing such as this.

It doesn't matter who likes you or doesn't because we were not created to be loved by those in the world. God's approval is more important than man's. Never be surprised by those you don't know or do who turn against you in any fashion. Why would the world love you when they didn't even love Jesus Christ their Savior?

God's will is not for us to just share the Truth of Jesus and the rebuking of sin alone yet by deeds of helping those in need, that is the will of the Father. It is not about seeking after wealth, possessions and self serving gain as the world tells us, for the will of the Father says otherwise than that which man claims.

God never said, "Be narcissistic and be the Best of all the rest".

God never said, "Pursue after your own interests first and your own priorities".

God never said, "Your life is all about you".

Does God want you to give money to those who build buildings or to those that do the works of that which He commands in Scripture?

If we are to mirror and be like Jesus Christ as scriptures tell us, let us look at what Jesus actually did and gave as an example for us. Jesus did not teach in buildings or sanctuaries or temples, he taught amongst the people and the masses.

Never once does scripture say that Jesus nor his disciples went around collecting money for buildings. What scriptures do say is Jesus and his disciples went around helping the poor, spending time with the downtrodden, feeding the hungry and healing the sick.

Scripture says we are who profess the name of Jesus Christ, who acknowledge Him as the Savior the only Begotten Son of God in Heaven, who repent for their sins and are baptized in the name of Jesus and accept the Holy Spirit which then dwells in them thus becoming part of God's Family is the Church, the church is not a building.

We are to go share the word of God so all may know the Truth, live in a way that is pleasing and in service to God by serving others by doing for others what God commands us to do.

Where is God? Does scripture say "God is in the buildings and temples that we build for our own enjoyment or with those that do the works of Heaven? What does the Bible actually say about such matters?

I had a discussion this morning with a woman about church and she shared with me how she had stopped going to different church establishments because they had decided not to invest their funds into helping house, feed or clothe the poor yet invested their money in a lavish new auditorium.

I shared with her that according to scriptures, there is no Biblical teachings that stipulates or instructs any church to invest in buildings yet it does clearly instruct believers to help the needy and the poor beyond just words of scripture and prayers. Yes, prayers are definitely instructed yet also are deeds.

We discussed how we are instructed to give money back to God, yet should our monetary giving go to those in the Church that invest God's money into that which God instructs or that which is not scripturally based nor instructed.

The scriptures says that we are to help and provide our own (meaning those in the church, our neighbors and those in need) and for one's own household because those who do not are worse than an unbeliever and denied the faith (which is belief done in deeds).

The Scriptures do warn us clearly, to not store up earthly treasures on earth where moth and rust can destroy, yet store up our Treasure in Heaven. Even Scriptures talk about the Tower of Babel which was a lavish structure to touch up to Heaven and God rebuked those who did with the speaking of tongues in different languages so that they could not decipher what the other was saying.

The Scriptures also teach the parable about the Rich Man and the Poor Man. The Bible states the name of the Poor Man yet never the Rich Man. In fact the Poor Man went to Heaven when he died and the Rich Man went to hell because he refused to clothe, feed and house the Poor Man. The Rich Man who is in hell, implores the Poor Man in Heaven to give him a drink of water to ease the parchment and swelling of his tongue in his suffering and the Poor Man says that he can't because he is unable to go where the Rich Man now is.

The Bible clearly rebukes those who are in positions to help others and choose to reject those who come to them and send them on their way with nothing but words of prayer.

It is wise to look to God and not to man because only God can save, not man. The Bible says " examine everything and discern if it is of the Spirit and of God". How do we do that? Meditate on God's Word and examine for ourselves how things and matters align with the details of scripture as God instructs for us rather than relying on man to give his own interpretation of what scriptures align with his own agenda and those that do not.

It seems we are living in times where scriptures are being ignored and embraced to serve the wil and desires of man rather than the commandments of God. The Bible warns that False Prophets and False Teachings will arise to focus on their own version of what is True, rather than the whole Truth of what God says. We are to seek God's approval alone not man's because man's approval is fruitless and worthless for it can never save any of us, only God alone can do that.
