Came looking for a cowboy… left wondering why nobody told me the Black Rodeo was THIS much fun. 🤠😂

From Swag Surfin’ in the stands to watching the kids absolutely SHOW OUT, my daddy believing he could compete in every event 😭, and me living my best horse-girl life… the 2026 Black Rodeo Invitational in Kansas City was definitely one for the books.

10/10 experience. And yes, I’m still mad my phone died before the bull riding. 😒😂

KC, did y’all make it to the rodeo this year?! And more importantly… did anybody actually find a cowboy? 👀🤠

I used to think being available all the time meant I was good at my job.

Now? I think success looks a little different. 🤎

It looks like boundaries. Protecting my time. Being intentional about who and what gets access to me. Building a business where I can still serve my clients well, pour into my agents AND actually have a life outside of real estate.

10+ years in this business has taught me that the goal was never to be busy 24/7.

The goal is to build something that gives you options.

More freedom. More intention. More room for the life you worked so hard to create.

I signed up for swim lessons thinking I was just going to learn how to swim better…

Instead, I learned that a front-zip swimsuit and a large chest are not always in agreement. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

Let’s just say… there was a moment.

But honestly? That’s kind of been the theme of this season.

Starting something new has a funny way of humbling you.

Sometimes we assume, “I already know how to do this.” Then life reminds us there’s always another level to learn.

Swimming has taught me that confidence isn’t the same thing as mastery.

You can know enough to stay afloat… and still have so much room to grow.

I’ve realized I don’t want to stop challenging myself just because I’m an adult. There are still rooms to enter, skills to learn, fears to face, and yes… apparently better swimsuits to buy. 😂

Every lesson reminds me that growth isn’t about looking polished. It’s about showing up anyway.

Here’s to new chapters, awkward moments, and refusing to let embarrassment keep us from becoming who we’re capable of being. 🤎
