Meet our October Pet of the Month, October!

October's favorite part of the day is the dog park—not always for business, but to see all his new dog friends! He’s extremely social, loves attention, naps hard, chews on everything, and has just enough little-boy s***k to keep me entertained. He’s the sweetest little thing and so cute it’s hard not to stare!

If you see October in the hallway, feel free to give him some pets—he’ll happily take all the attention!

We’re still thinking about our Annual Y2K Pool Party and all the fun we had! 🌴🪩💖

From the throwback hits and poolside fun 🎶🏊‍♀️ to the games, refreshing drinks, raffles, and totally tubular decorations — it was the perfect summer afternoon! ☀️🕶️

And of course, we loved seeing everyone show up in their best Y2K-inspired looks! 🛼📀✨

Butterfly clips, funky sunglasses, throwback tunes, sunshine, and lots of laughs — what more could you ask for? 💕

Meet Dylan! 👋✨

Dylan joins The Grand with 5+ years of leasing and sales experience, all spent in Columbia, MO, where he also graduated from Mizzou. After a year away, he’s back in the industry and excited to be part of the team here in Downtown KC!

A Kansas City native, Dylan is also a Sergeant in the Missouri Army National Guard, continuing a successful and decorated Army career that’s now 8 years strong. He’s happy to be back home, where showing people luxury apartments and talking for a living are considered productive. 😉

Outside of work, he spends an unreasonable amount of time in the gym, keeps up with sports, and is usually looking for an excuse to be somewhere around the city — typically Power & Light.

Twenty-five years later, September 11 remains a day that is difficult to put into words.

We remember the thousands of innocent people whose lives were taken, the families who lost loved ones, and the first responders, firefighters, police officers, military members, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage.

We also remember what happened in the days and weeks that followed — neighbors helping neighbors, strangers reaching out to strangers, and communities coming together with a renewed sense of compassion and unity.

Today is a day to pause, remember, and honor those we lost.

May we never forget their lives, their stories, and the sacrifices made that day.
