I had our normal "Just Sold" post ready to go.

You know the one. The polished graphic. The usual caption about how honored we were to help.

But this one deserved something a little more real.
A glimpse into tye real and raw side of this job.

These aren't just clients.

Tim has known Jay since they were kids. Ashley has been my friend for what feels like forever. And Lincoln...well, anyone who knows Tino knows those two have been inseparable. Weekends at our house. Swimming at theirs. Gaming for hours. He's like another son to us.

So when they told us they were moving to Florida and asked us to help sell their home, we were incredibly honored.

We were also heartbroken.

We never imagined the Williams family leaving Belton. It just wasn't part of the picture we all had in our heads.

We got the job done. Ashley is already in Florida, and today her boys are making their way home to her to begin this exciting new chapter.

We've cried a few tears at closing. A few more when we pulled the sign out of the yard for the last time. And, if I'm being completely honest, a few more while writing this.

The beautiful thing about life is that two things can be true at the same time.

We are going to miss this family like crazy.

And we are beyond excited to watch them chase this new adventure...plus, I guess we'll just have to suffer through visiting them in the Sunshine State. ❤️

Moments like these are a reminder that real estate has never just been about houses.

It's about chapters closing.
New ones beginning.
Dreams being chased.
And the people we get to walk alongside through it all.
