Because of that partnership, a family in Guatemala recently received a safe, secure concrete home complete with a locking metal door, concrete floors, a water filter, a wood-saving stove, and a bunk bed. Before this, they were living in a makeshift structure built from corn stalks, scrap metal, salvaged wood, and a dirt floor.
Meet Maria and her three children. As a single mother, she supports her family by making and selling tortillas from her home. Today, her family has a safer place to live and a stronger foundation for the future.
Every time someone buys or sells a home with us, they're helping make stories like this possible. ❤️
