We’re excited to welcome Woodhouse Spa, a nationally recognized luxury day spa brand, to Northridge Plaza in Olathe, Kansas.

Woodhouse Spa will occupy a 6,840-square-foot standalone building at 15230 W. 119th Street, adding a premium wellness destination to the established retail center. Known for its tranquil, resort-inspired environments and comprehensive menu of services, including massage therapies, facials, and body treatments, the concept brings an elevated, guest-focused experience to the community.

The new location marks Woodhouse Spa’s second in the Kansas City metro and will be owned and operated by a local husband-and-wife franchise team, Mark and Julie Rome, further enhancing the center’s strong mix of retail, dining, and service tenants.

Woodhouse Spa is slated to open mid- to late-September 2026.

Building places that serve a community for generations takes alignment, collaboration and a shared commitment to getting it right.

At Copaken Brooks, we’re proud to have served as the City’s Owner’s Representative for Clock Tower Landing, helping guide a vision that reflects both the legacy and future of Downtown Overland Park.

This effort brought together a strong public-private team, and we’re grateful to the City of Overland Park, Kansas Government, PGAV Architects and McCownGordon Construction for their partnership in delivering a space designed to better serve the community year-round.

Special thanks to Jamie Stadler, P.E., who led the day-to-day efforts for Copaken Brooks, and Keith Copaken for their leadership on the project.

Last Friday, members of the Copaken Brooks team had the opportunity to support at their Foster Grandparents In-Service Program here in Kansas City.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to spend a meaningful morning alongside an organization doing such important work in our community. A special thank you to Craig Cooper for helping coordinate this effort on behalf of Copaken Brooks.

And a big thank you to Kristina Griffin, Kimberly Henderson, and Dylan Freeman for welcoming us and putting together a great event for everyone involved.

Momentum continues at Lenexa City Center as Copaken Brooks advances the final phase of development across the campus. With new restaurants, a planned childcare facility, and residential projects underway, the district continues to evolve as a leading mixed-use destination.

As Erin Johnston shared, “It’s gone from a field to a 2.5 million-square-foot city… we’ve got some great things coming,” reflecting the continued focus on thoughtful growth and activation.

That energy will be on full display this summer through Pitch Lenexa and World Cup watch parties at Lenexa City Center. As Lonny Stump, CPM noted, “This will bring people to this area and get them more familiar with existing businesses.”

Together, these efforts highlight the strength of long-term vision and ongoing investment in creating a vibrant, connected community.

This past Friday members of our team volunteered with Reconciliation Services to build new shelves, organize, plant new foliage and lay mulch at their location at Troost Avenue and 31st Street. Thank you Thelma's Kitchen for an amazing lunch and thank you to our own Craig Cooper for helping set up the opportunity to give back!

Reconciliation Services seeks to address the root causes and effects of poverty and trauma in our city by engaging individuals in ways that promote dignity and personal well-being, foster healthy community by transforming dividing lines into gathering places, and empower people to advocate for themselves, their families, and their neighbors.
