What fun we had today partnering with Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods as caia agents (community in action agents) with ReeceNichols Real Estate | KS | MO | AR | OK. I don’t know about you but kids eyes lighting up when we shared the goodie bags is just ❤️. Pets dressed up… lol that was all the rage. MCC holds a special place in my heart. My daughter completed the dual high school and 2 year college program free of charge giving her a great head start to her future. More than this is the confidence she developed. In high school somehow she wasn’t drawn to leadership roles however at MCC she started not 1 but 2 clubs. As a more reserved child seeing her take initiative, bring people together and discover her own abilities was so meaningful to us as her parents. I think as communities getting together, creating opportunities, encouraging each other and giving people a chance to discover who they are and be a contribution is what community is all about. Thank you MCC for helping students prepare for careers, grow as leaders and set new heights for themselves. Thank for for today and everyone involved. It was a lovely experience.
