Happy 236th Birthday to the U.S. Coast Guard! ⚓️🇺🇸

Twenty years in the Coast Guard gave me friendships that will last a lifetime. These guys weren’t just shipmates—they became brothers. This photo captures just a few of them, but I’m grateful for the many others who aren’t pictured yet have had just as much of an impact on my life.

And yes… my actual brother somehow managed to become one of the clowns too. 😂 Even though he never served in the Coast Guard, he spent enough time around us that he fit right in.

People ask me if I miss the Coast Guard.

Honestly… I don’t miss the circus, but I sure miss the clowns…🤡

Thank you to every Coastie I had the privilege of serving alongside. The uniforms came off years ago, but the friendships never did.

🎓✨ Congratulations to my son on graduating from James Campbell High School — Magna Cum Laude! 🤙🏽

This young man didn’t just walk across that stage — he earned every step. Four years of wrestling, stepping way outside his comfort zone, crushing AP courses, and holding it down as a lifeguard all while keeping those grades on point. That kind of work ethic and character? You can’t teach that.

Your ohana couldn’t be more proud. 🙏🏽

Now he’s off to University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa to pursue a degree in Computer Science — the future is wide open, son. Go show ’em what a Campbell grad is made of!

This past Saturday at Ka Makana Ali’i, our community came together for our annual Community Shred Event — and you did not disappoint. We shredded an estimated 2,000 lbs of sensitive documents, kept electronics out of the landfill thanks to E-Opala, and collected donations for local families in need through Parents and Children Together — .

That’s 2,000 lbs of personal information protected. That’s real peace of mind for families right here in our community.
A huge mahalo to for always opening their doors and making this possible year after year. This event doesn’t happen without you.

To everyone who came out, brought donations, and shared this with their friends and family — mahalo. This is exactly what community looks like.
