I had the real Chapín experience today and I’m still thinking about it.

Went to El K’iche restaurant in Katy and did it right ✨

Appetizer: Garnachas Mixtas, atol de Plátano sweet and warm, Horchata to cool it all down, Combo Chapin, and the Parrillada Chapin still sizzling 😋 pork, chicken, shrimp, peppers... that sound!

True authentic Guatemalan cuisine, including the tortillas.

As your local realtor, I’m always exploring our neighborhoods, and this spot is a Katy treasure. Family recipes, Mayan textiles, food made with love.

Have you tried El K’iche yet? What should I order next time?

Tuve la verdadera experiencia Chapina hoy y todavía la estoy saboreando.

Me fui a El K’iche restaurante en Katy y me fue excelente✨

De entrada: Garnachas Mixtas, atol de Plátano dulce y calientito, 1 Horchata para refrescarlo todo, Combo Chapín, y la Parrillada Chapina en su punto bien caliente 😋 carne de cerdo, pollo, camarones, chiles... escuchan ese sonido?

Auténtica gastronomía guatemalteca de verdad, hasta las tortillas.

Como su realtor local, siempre estoy explorando nuestros vecindarios, y este lugar es un tesoro de Katy. Recetas familiares, textiles mayas, comida hecha con amor.
