Every day someone asks what I think the 2024 housing market is going to do. Oh, if only I had a crystal ball! What I can tell you, if we learn from history, 2024, an election year, the market should be swift. The lowering of interest rates and lack of inventory leads us to believe that this would be a very good year to list or buy a home. Having helped 1000's of families over 38 years, my clients will tell you I say that to everybody, every time. There is some truth to that. The agents who have complained about 2023 have not lived through the market in the 1980, 2007, or even 2020. The agents who have survived those tough years are still standing because of their ability to stand strong with integrity, solid relationships, and persistently worked hard for their clients.
