Week 17 Market Update: April 21 to April 27, 2026

In this week’s market update:

New listings are down 10.1%, and pending sales dropped 18.1%. Off-market listings (homes that were withdrawn, terminated, or expired) fell 8.4%. Closings decreased 12.1%, while showings increased 3.1%.

Showings surged last week in Houston — 48,820 single-family showings across the metro, up 10.3% over last year — even as new listings and pendings both pulled back. Buyers are out in force.
