Staging this home was a dream! 7 pages of notes on our To Do List and 4 days on the market it went into Pending and then SOLD!

When I show up for any initial Staging consultation, my note taking starts at the curb and I work my way through each room of the house. I head out the back door all the way to the fence line, checking for any signs of wear and tear and noting how we can improve areas.
The side walks, driveway and brickwork on this home needed major power washing as well as a fresh coat of paint. Lots of landscaping as well as lighting suggestions were given in the front and back. Pool needed resurfacing and outdoor cushions replaced. However, the REAL fun for me started when I entered the home and checked for furniture placement, rugs that needed to be moved or replaced, rooms that needed repainted, the many accessories on bookshelves and in curio cabinets that needed to be removed (LESS is MORE) and the overall suggestions and ideas on how I can improve areas. (Where I truly thrive!!)
This is a custom home, with original dark paneling in the study, kitchen, family and breakfast area. I managed to get my clients to paint all but the study...huge HUGE improvement. The fireplace in the family room also needed updating (gorgeous stone wall added) and cabinets above the kitchen island and bar area needed to be removed to open those areas up.
All hardware in the bathrooms and ceiling fans were upgraded, carpet on the stairs was steamed and upstairs carpet was replaced. All bedrooms and closets were decluttered and built in’s were added in the game room.
It was a mission!! A very large To Do List mission but the mission WAS accomplished and I enjoyed every step along the way with my clients.

Congratulations to The Selfs on the sale of their home all in under six weeks!! So happy for them!!
