I understand safety matters. I wouldn't ever compromise safety measures nor would I expect anyone to climb on a snow covered roof however I don't let a little snow stop me from providing the best service and home inspection I can and can do so safely.
However to all the critics that refuse to walk on a snow covered roof I get to say sometimes that NUTS. 🥜 😁

On todays inspection.
One clever little squirrel 🐿️ found a good hiding place for a winter snack storage
Meanwhile the plumbing inside the home is gurgling and starved for proper air flow.

First came the wasps they built a nice hive inside the pipe, second came the squirrel who gently placed its 🥜 on the hive for support and hiding spot it is.

I know scary is in right now for Halloween but do we ever see anyone dressed as a furnace filter??
Why not you ask?
They aren't supposed to be scary or dirty. 🤪

With that being said and with the forecast of winter like weather and snow in the higher elevations coming this weekend guess what we're going to be relying on for comfort?? That right our furnaces that have had the past few weeks off with the beautiful fall like weather.
Just a friendly reminder change those furnace filters before flipping those thermostat to heat mode this weekend and enjoy the weekend.

Here a quick tip. If your garage door is "screaming" and making other Halloween sounds don't just use WD-40 or any old regular spray lubricant.
It needs to be silicone based spray. Maybe alao use a cardboard shield to catch the overspray and prevent this from occurring and now needing to repaint the entire door.

With the heat and sun exposure this summer I have a question. Have you had a qualified professional assess your roof this summer???
Here's a few of the best of photos I've encountered in the last few months.
Not only are we experiencing record breaking heat but everything exposed to the elements is taking a beating.
Add some monsoon moisture to these roof systems and bammm we have a roof leaks.
If you have questions or concerns regarding your roof system you should probably call a professional and I'd love to help.

Who needs forced air blowing into the bedroom for heating and cooling when you can have the flooring guy not cut out the laminate flooring over the HVAC ducting and have heated or cooled floors in areas instead ???
I mean most people pay big bucks for heated and cooled flooring.
(Flooring guy) Hold my beer I have a idea. We'll add this feature to our list of specialities and not even charge extra.
