Congratulations, Mariah Mack, CNA/MA & Chelsea Fread, Physical Therapist on Receiving the Dignity In Action Award!
Team members who make an extraordinary difference in the lives of others can be nominated for the Vetter Senior Living Dignity In Action Award. This prestigious award is presented quarterly and recognizes individuals who consistently demonstrate compassion, dignity, and exceptional service.
Here's what the nominations said:
"Mariah is truly one in a million. She leaves her own family each day to care for us and treats every resident as if we were part of her family. Whenever we have a concern or problem, she approaches it with a positive, 'Yes, I can' attitude and works hard to find a solution. She consistently goes above and beyond for residents and always puts a smile on our faces."
"Mariah's work ethic is exceptional and stands out to everyone around her. She works long hours while providing compassionate care and treating residents like family. Not only does she dedicate herself to nursing, but she is always willing to help wherever she is needed. Mariah goes out of her way to make our community feel like home by decorating for holidays and creating special treats for residents to enjoy. She is always willing to pick up shifts, even when she is scheduled to be off. We often joke that we see her more than her own family, as she has four children and a husband at home. Despite her many responsibilities, she continues to give her all to the residents she serves. Mariah has a heart of gold, takes great pride in her work, and is always willing to go above and beyond. Whenever we have questions, she makes sure we get the answers we need. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to caring for others are truly remarkable. She is very deserving of this award and recognition."
"Chelsea is a shining example of Dignity In Action. She radiates compassion and patience while providing excellent resident-centered care, treating each resident as the most important person in the room. She is always professional and demonstrates a 'Yes, I can' attitude, consistently willing to help residents and fellow team members. Chelsea takes the time to build meaningful relationships with residents, and it is evident how much they trust and respect her."
Mariah and Chelsea will travel to Omaha, Nebraska with a guest of their choice, next month to receive this award and be recognized at the Vetter Senior Living Home Office.
Congratulations, Mariah and Chelsea! Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to making a difference every day. We are proud to have you on our team!
