We wrapped up our week of celebrations for National Assisted Living Week with a trip back to the Roaring Twenties and a special Show & Shine this morning!

We are incredibly fortunate to have so many talented and inspiring community members here at Brookestone Gardens. We wanted to take a moment to celebrate the talents, hobbies, achievements, passions, and memories that make each person so special.

Community members brought something meaningful to them and shared the story behind it with the group. We heard wonderful stories, learned about special accomplishments, and even enjoyed a couple of tunes played on instruments by some of our very talented community members!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our Show & Shine so special. Your stories, talents, memories, and passions are what make our Brookestone Gardens community shine!

Please join us in welcoming June Collison, MSN, RN, as our Director of Nursing at Brookestone Gardens!

June brings more than 30 years of experience in nursing, education, and leadership. Throughout her career, each role has helped shape her into the compassionate nurse, dedicated educator, and strong leader she is today.

June has been happily married to her husband for 28 years and is a proud stepmom to a stepson in Germany who has two young children. Together, June and her husband have two daughters, one living in Lincoln and the other in Kearney. As a family, they enjoy spending time at Harlan County Lake and taking ATV and snowmobile adventures in Centennial, Wyoming.

When asked what drew her to Brookestone Gardens, June shared that it was our mission and vision that truly stood out to her. She appreciates our commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect while providing personalized care to those we serve.

As she begins her journey with us, June's goal is to build strong relationships with our team and continue living out our mission and vision each and every day.

We are excited to have June's knowledge, leadership, and passion for caring for others as part of the Brookestone Gardens family.
