Battle of the Beaches, tonight at 8pm! Go Nebraska Mother-Daughter team!!!🙌🏻🔑🏝️🏠

A Nebraska mother and daughter team is going to be on an HGTV show!

It's called BATTLE ON THE BEACH and Season 5 debuts tonight (June 1st) at 8 pm on HGTV.

Sydney Lorence (on the right) lives north of Trumbull and grew up in Seward. Her mom, Michelle Mueller, is a realtor in Seward. Their celebrity coach is Ty Pennington (!!!).

They are 1 of 3 teams competing to renovate beachfront rentals into vacation homes that deliver top reviews and top dollar. The season runs for 7 episodes.

Sydney didn’t exactly ease her mom into the idea. When she saw the casting call, she mentioned it to her husband who is originally from Doniphan. He wasn’t all that interested, so she moved on to Plan B: “I said, you’re out, I’m going to ask my Mom.”

She texted her mom, didn’t get a reply right away… and applied anyway.

We can see how things go- starting tonight at 8pm on HGTV! Nebraska is cheering you on!

So much to celebrate for Dillon & Alexis! 🏡💍👶
Over the past year, their lives have changed in the best way; getting married, buying a home, and now a sweet baby on the way! It’s been such a joy to be part of this exciting chapter with them!!

I actually met Alexis a few years ago when she moved to Kearney after college to start her career as a nurse. We struggled at finding a home at that time, however I helped her with a rental. After a few years of renting, it meant so much to me that she reached out when she was ready to purchase a home… and even more special to help her and Dillon find the perfect place together!!

Benjamin was my very first client back in 2014… a young man making a wise decision to invest in his future through homeownership! With the support of his parents, we found him a great starter home that began it all!

Fast forward 12 years… now he’s newly married to his beautiful wife, Daphne, and together we’ve spent weekends and evenings searching for the place they could truly call their forever home!

This time, everything came full circle. I had the opportunity to be part of a remodel project with Husker Tech on a once-neglected home, and they did an incredible job bringing it back to life!! The craftsmanship and care they put into it made all the difference and it turned out to be exactly what Benjamin and Daphne had been hoping for🙌🏻!
