Interesting move by Bershire Hathaway announced this week...a $6.8 billion dollar all cash transaction for homebuilder Taylor Morrison Homes. The transaction moves Berkshire into top 5 investor in single family home construction. This is a sign for the housing market that we are in the bottoming stage of the sentiment. Per survey by John Burns Research and Consulting that finds 75% of current renters still believe they will eventually buy a home. Information here pulled from WSJ article.
