Are you an experienced Property Manager passionate about providing high-quality, affordable housing? We’re seeking a motivated professional to oversee Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) apartment communities in the Seward and Kenai areas.
💼 What You’ll Do:
✅ Manage day-to-day operations of LIHTC properties
✅ Oversee leasing, resident relations, and compliance with HUD & LIHTC regulations
✅ Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services
✅ Monitor budgets, reporting, and occupancy goals

Come in From the Cold Day
National Come in From the Cold Day is celebrated annually on January 22. The phrase “come in from the cold” means to warm yourself up by coming inside and warming your body up be it by fire or a warm drink. While there are numerous fun and adventurous activities that take place during winters like snowboarding, skiing, ice skating, or snowman building, one of the most satisfying must be to come inside after all that activity and get warm. We can see why this day was created! It encourages us to pause, come inside, out of the cold, sip a hot drink, and relax in front of a fire or heater.

Here’s the thing about squirrels: some people hate them and say that they’re “invasive species.” But can those people leap across a space ten times the length of their body? Didn’t think so.

NATIONAL PENGUIN DAY
We love penguins for lots of reasons: They walk around in tuxedos, they have a cute waddle, and they’re unique! And to show that we care, we observe National Penguin Day on January 20. While this day celebrates the penguins, it’s also a time to think about saving them. Many penguin colonies have been lost to climate change and it’s estimated that half the population of emperor penguins will vanish by the end of this century. We can start to help these endangered creatures by focusing on environmental issues.
