Let's not forget the Heros of Flight 93, 4 male passengers & at least 2 female Flight Attendants, who gave their lives on 9/11.

Tom Burnett was 38 years old from Minnesota. He was a vice president at a cargo airline. He had a wife named Deena and two young daughters. He called Deena from Flight 93 and told her the plane had been hijacked. He said: "Oh my God. It's a su***de mission." Then he said: "We have to do something about it. There's three of us who are going to do something. I love you, honey." He hung up knowing he would not come home.

Todd Beamer was 32 years old from New Jersey. He was on his way to San Francisco for a business meeting. He called an operator named Jefferson DePriest. He told him Flight 93 had been hijacked. He said the passengers and crew had voted to attack the hijackers. He said: "We're going to rush the hijackers and take back the plane." His last words were: "Are you ready? Okay. Let's roll." He rolled knowing it would end in death.

Mark Bingham was 25 years old from San Francisco. He was a public relations executive. He called his mother. He told her the plane had been hijacked. He said: "I'm going to die, aren't I?" She did not answer. He rushed the cockpit anyway.

Jeremy Glick was 31 years old from New Jersey. He was a sales manager. He called his wife Lyzbeth. He told her Flight 93 had been hijacked. He said: "A group of us are going to rush the hijacker. I love you." She heard him say goodbye. He rushed the cockpit anyway.

Flight attendant CeeCee Lyles and Sandra Bradshaw filled pitchers with boiling water. They were weapons. They knew the water would not be enough. They prepared it anyway. They stood with the four passengers.

At 9:57 AM on September 11, 2001, these four men and two flight attendants moved toward the cockpit. They had a plan. They would overpower the hijackers. They would prevent the plane from reaching Washington, D.C. They voted on this knowing it was a su***de mission. They voted anyway.

At 10:03 AM, Flight 93 crashed in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. All 40 people aboard died. The plane never reached the Capitol. It never reached the White House. Hundreds of lives were saved on the ground because four businessmen decided that dying to stop a crash was better than living to see it happen.

Tom Burnett was not a soldier. Todd Beamer was not trained for this. Mark Bingham was not prepared for combat. Jeremy Glick had no military experience. They were businessmen. They had jobs. They had families. They had lives ahead of them. On September 11, they became heroes because they chose to act.

They are remembered because they understood something fundamental: that a su***de mission is not brave when it serves nothing. But a su***de mission becomes heroic when it saves hundreds of people you will never meet. When it stops an attack on the Capitol or the White House. When it prevents further loss of life.

Four passengers. Two flight attendants. One decision. They rushed the cockpit knowing they would die. They did it anyway. ✈️ 💙

Why does the current D.C. administration attract the cruelest people in the country? Is it partly the way they were raised? Or is it organic? This is fascinating! Take a quick listen!

Certain Afghan families helped the United States at great personal risk of death by the Taliban, while the U.S. military was at war in Afghanistan. In return, the U.S. gave them legal permission to come reside in the U.S., since it was no longer safe for them to stay in Afghanistan. TRUMP JUST DESTROYED THAT PROMISE, wrecking several families' lives, when he sent about 70 people in Chains From the US to Central Africa, where there is a terrible war going on and where the United States has advised people traveling there to leave a DNA sample with their families so if they show up dead their families can reclaim their bodies. Also, the country has given them only 3 months to stay there, then they must leave. They are not from Africa. They arrived with NOTHING. The Afghans may well be sent back to Afghanistan, which will certainly mean a cruel death awaits them. Trump feels nothing; he is not human, let alone humane.

Rachel Maddow looks at how Donald Trump's shameful dedication to deporting immigrants has led him to betray Afghans who helped the U.S. military in Afghanistan and were promised protection in the U.S., leaving it to individual service members to push back against his disgrace. Trump is also betrayin...
