If you have been "following the Real Estate market" then you know things have changed! Through August of this year, there were 17% more Listings in our MLS and only 1% more closings! Inventory is taking longer to sell, and "frenzied buying" has dropped off quite a bit! The recent rise in interest rates may cause another "hit" in pricing. What's the message?? Price it right from the start! Sellers should no longer "expect" multiple offers over list price; and buyers are more closely "staying within their budget" while considering offers. Will prices "drop"? I doubt it, in our area, since we are so densely populated. But, inventory is climbing in most areas...so if you are considering SELLING, let's look at the market together and figure the BEST PRICE for you to realize the highest price in the shortest amount of time!
