Sold 🎉 13 Northeast Road, Waterboro—and we closed in under 30 days. 🙌

This one moved fast, but it didn’t happen by accident.

Karen and I connected through another agent here in Maine who doesn’t work in York County. From our first conversation, I knew we’d work well together. Since she wasn’t going to be back at the property once we went live, we handled everything from afar—walking through the whole process together, looking at what had recently sold on Lake Sherburne, and getting a few things squared away before we listed.

Then the market showed up. We saw huge interest in the first 24 hours, multiple offers on the table, and a closing timeline that came together faster than most.

None of that happens without the right team. Sold in Portland 🔑

Allison and McKenzie are friends from my pre-real estate days. Allison, was actually my boss when I first moved to Maine, back when people still ordered $17 lobster rolls for office meetings. Then a pandemic happened and, well, IYKYK.

A little over a year and a half ago they called me to start game planning their next move: selling this home and finding the next one. They’d met with the agent who originally sold them the house, but his approach to selling it this time around just wasn’t the right fit, so they gave me the chance instead.

We searched for 6+ months, on and off market. Countless open houses. Nothing was quite right until they were open to looking a little outside their original search area, and we found the one: a beautiful 1900s New Englander with so much charm.

We’d actually done photos on their Portland home that winter, just in case we found the perfect next place and needed to move fast. Once we were under contract on the new house, we marketed their home exclusively to Portside clients while we got through the inspection period—one showing, one offer, and it was a great one. It gave Allison and McKenzie time to paint their new place and move in slowly instead of all at once, and it gave the buyers a home in a seriously sought-after neighborhood with zero competition. Win-Win.

Top producer at Portside for July — and honestly, the number on paper isn’t what I keep thinking about.

What I keep thinking about is all of you. The families who trusted me with one of the biggest decisions they’ll ever make. The buyers who let me in on the nervous excitement of finding “the one.” The sellers who handed me the keys to something they’d built a life in and trusted me to find it the right next owner.

Every closing this month was someone’s dream becoming real — a first home, a move-up, a fresh start on the coast. Being the person who gets to help make that happen is the actual honor here. The rest is just numbers.

And getting to be recognized alongside so many incredible agents at Portside this month means a lot too — this is a team of people who genuinely care about doing right by their clients, and I’m proud to be counted among them.

🏡 Would you trust your partner to pick your beach house without you?

That’s exactly what happened here. Yeonjoo didn’t see this house in person until final walkthrough — she and their son were back in Korea for the whole search. Adam and I looked at three houses together, and he fell for this one on the spot. That’s a whole different level of trust in your husband (and your realtor, lol).

Adam actually vacationed in Wells growing up, so this search was always a little personal for him.

🎉 261 Pine Hill Rd, Chelmsford is officially closed!

This one gave us a wild final chapter. The day before closing, we found a sinkhole at the final walkthrough. It turned out old tree stumps had been buried on the property decades ago and, after 34 years, finally decayed enough to open up a big, deep hole right at the finish line. Nobody had any idea it was even there.

Huge thanks to the local excavation crew who came out fast, cleared what was left of the stumps, filled everything in, and reseeded—we only lost a few days.

But honestly, none of that is really the story. The story is a family who trusted me with a home they’d loved for 34 years, and a new family who is so ready to start their next chapter in it. That’s the part that matters. 🏡

Congratulations to my sellers and to the wonderful buyers stepping into this next chapter! So happy for you both!
