We’re keeping an eye on a disturbance in the Gulf that has a chance to develop over the next couple of days.

Right now, Jefferson Parish is not in the main tropical threat area, but we could still see periods of heavy rain, thunderstorms and localized street flooding as moisture increases across the area.

No need to panic — just stay weather aware, especially if you’ll be out on the roads.

We’ll keep watching it and share updates if anything changes.
