Good morning, this is not a lakeside vista or Fairfield management run page. This is a resident run page where you get a unfiltered view of the property.

Follow Residents responding to post with pictures is great. but many residents and prospective residents do not receive a notification when you respond to my post. please make a post for all residents and prospective residents can see.

Good news can be posted on this page as well. This page is ment to bring the community together because not many people speak to each other in passing

Good Afternoon everyone, as we know since making this page we all have influenced a change in staff. A change in staff is not even the beginning to being treated equitably. Power washing has happen at some if not all buildings and trash cleanliness has had a slightly improvement but constant accountability is required to keep our community sanitary. The Fairfield Residential website for our community promotes a “STATE-OF-THE-ART FITNESS STUDIO” but the studio has broken down equipment. Let’s use our voice collectively to get our stat of art fitness studio that we’ve been paying for and is advertised

In 4 weeks is a major undeclared holiday .

Will Fairfield Residential help us celebrate it? They are acquiring multiple LIHTC (low income housing tax credit) properties that serves an overwhelming majority of African Americans but are not investing into the community that are making them rich.

At full Occupancy Lakeside vista rent roll revenue is well over $300,000 a month or over $3.5 million a year and only pay 1/2 million in taxes. The other 3 million doesn’t go all to Expenses and mortgage.

What’s a few thousand to help residents celebrate?

Friday 05.14.2021 Management left at 5 pm knowin the situation of the trash compactor not being connected. They ignored the problem knowing it would get worst over the weekend which could be fixed with a simple solution. The current office management doesn’t care much for their residents or they were “TRAINED” wrong.
The video shows todays condition 05.17.2021 at 11:45 am. And it gets worst by the hour with 300+ apartments for 1 compactor.

Lakeside vista sold for $39,800,000 on 8/14/2019 to Fairfield Residential but they retained the incompetent Property Manager & Assistant manager who cares nothing for their mostly African American residents by withholding resources and at times denying the resources were available for residents struggling to pay their rent.

Everyday here at lakeside another resident is becoming aware they may qualify for the (ERA) that has been in place for over a year in Cobb county that Management admit they was aware of.

Management has a sign to direct recertification of tax credit eligibility online to generate lease renewals but no signs to help residents struggling to pay rent that qualify for programs that have been available since May 2020 almost a year to date.

Eligibility requirements for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA)

An “eligible household” is defined as a renter household in which at least one or more individuals meets the following criteria:
1. Qualifies for unemployment or has experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced a financial hardship due to COVID-19;
2. Demonstrates a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability; and
3. Has a household income at or below 80 percent of the area median.

Eligible households that include an individual who has been unemployed for the 90 days prior to application for assistance and households with income at or below 50 percent of the area median are to be prioritized for assistance.

Household income is determined as either the household’s total income for calendar year 2020 or the household’s monthly income at the time of application. For household incomes determined using the latter method, income eligibility must be redetermined every 3 months.
