👻The BIGGEST, bestest, Community Halloween event in the Tri is almost HERE!
The Annual Downtown Kennewick Boo Bash Street Festival (10am-5pm) and Safe Street Business Trick-Or-Treat (3pm-5pm) is Saturday, Oct. 25th!
➡️While there are well OVER 1,000 parking spaces in the Main Street Downtown Kennewick area.., there are a few locations that are an absolute 🚫 No Go! "You Can't Park There" places, and we, at HDKP, respect that.🙌⬇️
So, for your own peace of mind, and to plan your PERFECT Boo Bash, with minimal sugar crashes, costume catastrophes & minion meltdowns, PLEASE don't park in the NO Parking or Tow Away Zones! These are privately owned lots. Please seek locations that are open to public parking. The provided map is our suggestions, not our legal advice 😉
Things to know:
-All privately operated parking lots MUST fall within the City of Kennewick Downtown Zoning Codes.
-There is currently NO paid parking in Downtown Kennewick, unless at the Legal parking lot owner's discretion.
Parking Lot Sign requirements Size and visibility: Signs must be at least 15" x 24" with lettering that is clearly visible to all who park.
Placement: Signs must be posted near each entrance and on the property in a clearly conspicuous and visible location to all who park.
Content: Signs must include the following information:
The times towing is enforced.
The name, telephone number, and address of the towing firm where the vehicle can be redeemed.
A 24-hour telephone number for owners to locate their towed vehicle.
Unauthorized vehicles: The sign must state that unauthorized vehicles will be impounded at the owner's expense.
Public property: For publicly owned or controlled facilities, signs must disclose that vehicles will be impounded and provide a phone number for redemption.
If you have questions about your Boo Bash parking choice, PLEASE take pictures of parking lot entrances, your parking space, and ALL available signage.
