As Realtors, we often tell our clients, "The right house will come along." Sometimes that can be hard to believe in the moment.

I first met these buyers at an open house where we found a condo they absolutely loved. We wrote an offer, but it just wasn't meant to be our time. While it was disappointing, we kept moving forward.

Well... this wasn't exactly on my 2026 bingo card. 😭
After my car was totaled on the way to an open house, I've officially reached the "waiting at the BMV to transfer my plates" chapter of the story.
The plate is about the only thing left from my old car. 💔
Here's hoping the new ride brings lots of happy clients, smooth closings, and a lot less excitement on the roads.
Anyone else have a vehicle they weren't quite ready to say goodbye to?
