Please make sure you are locking your slider and back doors. Keep your patio light on, and don't leave your windows open with valuables in plain sight. Stay safe!

We have seen a trend of nighttime residential burglaries. Entry to the backyard is made through unlocked side gates, and access to the home is through unlocked kitchen windows. In most cases, they have taken purses/wallets left in view in the kitchen. Evidence shows that they try multiple houses looking for unlocked side or backyard windows.
• Be sure that side gates are locked, including doors leading
to the garage.
• Windows are secured. Use secondary locking devices.
• Do not have purses/wallets and other valuables in view of
windows
• Light up the outside of the house: front, sides and back
• Keep an eye on your neighbor’s yards too
• Call 911 if you see anything suspicious
