PORTAGE COUNTY: Beginning on Friday evening, March 27, the following impacts will be in place through mid-July for intersection improvements in the City of Streetsboro:
SR 303 at Ranch Road will be closed.
The detour will be Superior Ave. to SR 14.
No left turns permitted at the following intersections
SR 14 east to SR 43 north.
SR 43 south to SR 14 east.
SR 303/SR14 west to SR 43 south.
The detour route for left turning traffic is to use Market Square Drive to SR 43/SR 14.

A seasonal BURN BAN is currently in effect in Portage County, Ohio, for March, April, and May 2026, prohibiting most open burning between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.. This restriction, enforced by the ODNR and local fire departments, applies to yard waste, trash, and debris, even in burn barrels.
Local Fire Departments are already inundated with calls to assist with clean up from the recent high winds and now are facing calls for fires caused by homeowners trying to burn the yard debris. In addition to the burn ban, the fact that we are still experiencing random bursts of high winds makes it even more important that you refrain from open burning.

🐰🐣 Easter Basket Drive 🐣🐰

We are currently collecting donated Easter Baskets to brighten the holiday for children within our community!

Please include the basket itself along with easter grass. We would also appreciate all filled baskets wrapped in cellophane if possible. Baskets will be distributed to children 2 to 10 years of age.

ALL EASTER BASKETS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MARCH 23rd and can be dropped off Monday - Friday 9am to 3pm
