This week I had the opportunity to travel to Raleigh with NC Realtors, and I’m leaving feeling grateful, inspired, and even more passionate about serving our communities.

We spent time learning about Senate Bill 445 and the work being done around regulatory reform, sat in on conversations with Colin Mullane, First Vice President of NAR, and met with Representatives Lowe, Zenger, Jones, and several other leaders from our area to discuss the bills they are working on and the issues that matter to North Carolinians.

What stood out to me most was being surrounded by Realtors from across the state who care deeply about their communities. Seeing so many people volunteer their time, show up, and advocate for homeowners, private property rights, and stronger communities is incredibly inspiring.

I’m especially thankful for Winston Salem Regional Association of Realtors and their commitment to keeping us informed, engaged, and involved in the legislative process. I’m honored to serve as Chair of RPAC and to be a member of an association that encourages us to have a voice and be active in shaping the future of our industry and our communities.

Real change happens when people get involved. Whether it’s at the local, state, or national level, these conversations matter. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, listen, build relationships, and have a seat at the table. Together, we can help move our communities forward.

From the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the beautiful beaches of the Outer Banks, and all the hidden gems in between, North Carolina truly has something for everyone. Whether you love hiking, boating, wine tasting, college sports, local festivals, or simply enjoying a sunset on the porch, adventure is never far away.

As someone who was born and raised here, I don’t take for granted how special this state is. The people, the communities, and the endless opportunities to make memories are what make North Carolina the best place to live, work, and put down roots.

Someone asked me recently, “How do you do it all?”

The truth?

I don’t.

I’m still growing. Still learning. Still figuring things out one day at a time.

I’m a wife, mom, Realtor, daughter, sister, friend, leader, dog lover, dreamer, traveler, coffee enthusiast, and someone who believes deeply that home is about so much more than four walls.

My mama really said ‘happy birthday’ and gave me the gift of CLARITY. 🎂✨
She booked me an appointment at House of Colour in King, and y’all — I didn’t know how much I needed it until I walked out of there.
Being a mom in my 40s and trying to figure out what to wear, what actually looks good on me… it’s a lot. More than I like to admit. Ellen took all of that guesswork away.
Turns out? I’m a True Summer. 🌸 Soft, creamy, smoky tones — and honestly, it’s my favorite season for a reason.
I cannot wait to go back for my full styling session. If you’ve been sleeping on House of Colour, wake up, friend. It is THAT good.

Our Bourbon & Cigar event was one for the books—an incredible turnout, even better conversations, and a room full of people who truly care about our community.

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was sharing stories of Ted Kelly and honoring his legacy. We even raffled a bottle of Eagle Rare from his personal collection—such a special moment. Congrats to Laura Beth for winning the raffle😍
