How many of you have bought a new construction home, had an inspection and was told the repairs were made, BUT did not have it re-inspected because the builder told you the repairs were made? DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! Here is an example why you don't believe them and have it re-inspected. I have others like this too. Personally, I would request the builder pay for the re-inspection, especially when these are found. Photos are from Finished inspection and then a year one warranty inspection. Left photo - 2024. Each year the number of home inspectors vary in NC. This year the number has dropped. If I am remembering correctly, last year I believe the number of inspectors were between 2000-2100. This year we have had a reduction down to 1800 licensed inspectors in NC. The maps show how many are based in each county. Please know we are able to travel anywhere in the state of NC we desire to inspect a home.
