If you're considering a move or just thinking you have too much stuff, here’s a simple way to start the decluttering process: pick one small area—like a drawer or a closet. Sort items into three piles: keep, donate, or toss. Keep in mind you don’t always have to empty the whole house! If moving is your goal, another option may to focus only on what you want to take with you, and leave the rest to a professional—like a Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP)—to clear out and prep your home for sale. Less stress, more progress!
