This isn’t a marketing post.
This is a family habit that got out of hand and turned into a tradition.

Mantle barbecue started a long time ago.
Back when my grandfather was doing it the hard way.
So we kept doing it the same way.
Because changing it would feel wrong.

• Lexington-style barbecue
• Cooked the slow way
• No ovens
• No gas
• No shortcuts

Just wood.
Fire.
Smoke.
And people who’ve been awake way too long because doing it right still matters.

Some of our guys have been up 24+ hours.
Not for clout.
Not for photos.
Because this is how we show up.

We believe community is built around tables.
Around food.
Around slowing down long enough to eat together.

Every year we do this for our clients and vendors.
Old-school barbecue.
Lexington-style.
The way it’s supposed to be done.

Other folks cheat.
We don’t.

This is Mantle.
A lot of wood.
A lot of love.
And a whole lot of smoke. 🍖🔥

One of our favorite Mantle traditions kicks off today.

The barbecue pit is fired up.
The wood is stacked.
The smoke is already doing its thing.

If you’re anywhere near the Welcome office,
you’ll probably smell us before you see us.
That’s intentional.

This is the part we love most.
Standing around the pit.
Telling the same stories.
Meeting people who wander over because their nose led them here.

Folks stop by to say hey.
Hang out for a bit.
Maybe grab a beverage.
Maybe score a crumb or two if we’re feeling generous.

No shortcuts.
No ovens.
No gas.

Just wood.
Fire.
Smoke.
And people who think tending a pit all day is a good time.

If you’re driving past and smell barbecue from miles away,
that’s us.

Swing by the Welcome office.
Say hello.
Bring a chair.
We’ll handle the smoke. 🔥🍖
