There is a reason so many people come to Sun Valley for a week and start looking for a way to stay longer.

The mornings are cool and the days are longer. One minute you are grabbing coffee and heading out for a bike ride or hike… and before you know it you are meeting friends at a concert, a farmers market, or dinner on a patio somewhere beneath Baldy.

What makes this valley so special is not just the beauty. It is how connected everything feels. The trails, the music, the local gathering places, the simplicity of everyday routines here. It all creates a lifestyle people fall in love with very quickly.

For anyone considering spending more time in Sun Valley, summer is one of the best ways to truly experience the rhythm of the community and what daily life here actually feels like.

There is something incredibly special about owning land in Blaine County. The privacy, the views, the wildlife, the connection to the landscape… it offers a lifestyle that is becoming harder and harder to find.

But land here is rarely as simple as counting acres.

There are certain places in the Wood River Valley that define the experience of being here, and Silver Creek is one of them.

Known around the world for its technical fly fishing, Silver Creek is also one of the most intentionally protected landscapes in our region. Healthy water systems, thriving wildlife habitat and preserved open space.

For nearly 50 years, The Nature Conservancy and this community have worked together to protect what makes this place so remarkable, and you can feel that the minute you arrive.

With opening weekend returning over Memorial Day, I wanted to spotlight one of the places that the people of this valley care deeply about.
