Took my grandson with me to the Keller Williams Advisors office earlier this week and look what we saw!!! 🐷

I think it’s safe to say this little guy was MUCH more interested in the piggie than real estate contracts.

Today was Keller Williams RED Day ❤️

Every year, Keller Williams agents across the world step away from business for a day to give back to the communities we serve. RED Day stands for Renew, Energize, and Donate — a reminder that real estate is about more than houses… it’s about people.

Today our office had the opportunity to volunteer with Homefull here in Dayton, an incredible organization that helps individuals and families experiencing homelessness by providing support with housing, food access, employment resources, and stability.

We spent the day doing simple hands-on work — clearing weeds, spreading mulch, and helping care for the space — but those small acts are part of something much bigger.

I’m grateful to be part of a company and community that believes in showing up, giving back, and investing time into causes that truly matter. Days like today are a beautiful reminder that service comes in many forms, and even small efforts can help create a stronger, more supported community. ❤️

One of the most important parts of this job is being honest with clients — even when the conversation isn’t the easiest one to have.

I recently consulted with an out-of-state seller who had been trying to sell her Dayton property for over 6 months. She trusted the information she was being given about the home and the market, but despite multiple showings and price drops, not a single offer came in. She was simply told, “the market is slow.”

The photos looked great, but the reality buyers experienced in person was very different.

Instead of sugarcoating it, I showed her what buyers were truly seeing and helped her understand the market honestly and realistically.

She appreciated the honesty, chose to list with me, and after repositioning and pricing the property appropriately, we received 5 offers and went under contract at full list price within a week.

Real estate isn’t about telling people what they want to hear. It’s about trust, transparency, and helping people make informed decisions that get real results.
