Reflecting with pleasure on a lovely summer: This tomato is the entire production of the first tomato plant I have ever tried tp grow. Inspired by colleagues (Christen Young & Steve Davis) who come to our Irongate office every summer weighed down by bags of incredibly delicious tomatoes (thank you!).

I am happy and proud of my tomato, the skin is a tad tough but the flavor is perfect and very sweet. Most importantly, I am eating it instead of a squirrel! Maybe next year I'll grow enough to share

Spending a week in Appalachia with Westminster friends - a beautiful part of the country that was devastated by floods in ‘22

In real estate, a pair of pendings is a winning hand! Thank you, Aberdeen Avenue, Oakwood!

Clementine came home from work and we spontaneously went on a late night walk to the Community golf course to check on the Aurora. There wasn’t much Borealis to see but my daughter was the only star I needed. It was a perfect father-daughter occasion that will bring a glow to my heart when she leaves for college.

Clementine is a 4 Paws for Ability pup from a litter sponsored by the Oakwood Rotary Foundation. I got lucky in the naming contest and chose Clementine to honor my favorite girl as she heads towards graduation. This perfect puppy is almost as sweet as my perfect daughter 🥰 I wanted to bring the puppy home but our yard is not big enough for two dogs so I thought, “I need to call a Realtor and find a house with a bigger yard,” Realizing the tricky state of the market, I called myself for professional real estate advice - I was not disappointed 🤣

This picture barely does justice to the mountain of Amazon boxes (literally thousands) that have been delivered to St.Vincent de Paul during the past few weeks. St. Vincent is currently hosting more than 600 guests (men, women and children) in their shelters and the society’s request for blankets, sheets and personal hygiene items was met with this heart-warming response. What a wonderful reflection of Dayton’s generous and caring community - Congratulations, Dayton!
