Job Description
We are looking for an assistant for our mobile home park manager for a mobile home park in Kewanee IL. This is a full time job. The main focus is on maintaining and improving the park, so the primary qualifications for the job are grounds keeping, basic maintenance on park owned homes and infrastructure, and mobile home rehab skills.
Skills:
· General outdoor maintenance
· Basic plumbing – Fix leaks, replace faucets, repair water line issues
· Basic electrical – replace switches, plugs, fans. Identify problems – any significant electrical will be hired out.
· Rough carpentry – Repair/replace floors, paneling, windows, cabinets/vanities, counters. Lay laminate, carpet, etc.
· Painting – Interior and exterior.
· Drywall – patch holes, tear out bad drywall/replace sections.
· Exterior maintenance – fix exterior siding, skirting, seal leaks,etc.
· Good character – MUST have good work ethic and be dependable, up front and honest. Dishonesty in any form is not tolerated and we do not accept poor quality work.
Additional information:
We work daily to make sure the property looks good, to process and complete work orders on repairs and to consistently move forward on any rehab projects. When tenants move out, we immediately get the unit ready to rent.
New owners purchased the park in June of 2018 and are working aggressively to improve the overall operations and looks of the park. We are looking for a dependable, trustworthy individual who works hard and is committed to quality work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
